We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Software Tester to be based at our office in Kuala Lumpur. If you are interested in this position, please review the list of qualifications below. Strictly for local Malaysians only
This role would suit a candidate from an IT qualification background who is accustomed to:
Responsibilities for Software Tester:
- Analyse and review system requirement specifications.
- Analyse and troubleshoot system issues relating to performance and test automation processes.
- Execute test cases/scenarios (manual or automated) and analyse results.
- Troubleshooting to find root cause of issues identified during testing – isolate test issues vs system component issues.
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects and also report bugs/errors to development teams.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to track and resolve issues to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Communication of test status and results to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate closely with corporate communications and customer experience to listen to our players everywhere including social media, email, chat and phone.
- Assist in the development and execution of manual functional and automation test cases
- Assist QA Software Executive in User Acceptance Test (UAT) sessions, prepare testing and reporting documentation.
Qualifications for Software Tester:
- Candidates must hold a Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least one year of relevant industry experience. Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds and relevant skills are also encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role.
- Experience in project management and Software Tester methodology.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Familiar with Jira, selenium etc. is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, analytical mid and problem-solving attitude.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
