Operating Permission Processing Data Screening Service During Movement Control Order (MCO)

During the PKP Phase 4 period, starting 29 April 2020, the Malaysian government allowed economic sectors to operate at full capacity, with contractors and companies required to apply for operation permission via the MITI Portal. Processing these applications involved cross-referencing databases, including CIDB Malaysia’s systems.

CIDB processed 41,758 applications for 65,733 projects, with 51,145 projects cross-checked against the Centralized Information Management System (CIMS). To ensure compliance with Act 520 and CIDB regulations, CIDBEC was appointed as the service provider for screening and processing these applications.
