The CONVINCE portal has been developed to channel construction-related information interactively and up-to-date in the form of statistics and data related to the country’s construction industry. CIDBEC has been appointed to manage and regulate the CONVINCE Portal.

In addition to the operation and maintenance of the portal, CIDBEC also implemented improvements to the CONVINCE portal in version 2.0 from 2020 to 2021 to ensure that the portal is maintained and operates well in providing complete, uniform and up-to-date information before being displayed to the public.

The portal uses SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for statistical display and there are more than 100 types of comprehensive reports involving a list of data from CIDB such as project lists, contractors, construction personnel, Certified Construction Product and Material (CCPM) and other sector data construction. Users can download all reports available on the portal in PDF, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. In addition, CIDBEC also provides various types of reports for the use of CIDB.
