A few details
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The BIM Incentive Scheme is a financing program for companies that carry out construction projects using BIM in the form of BIM software offers and BIM Training programs for free. This program was introduced as one of CIDB’s initiatives to construction industry players (contractors or consultants) to promote the use of BIM in the Malaysian construction industry. The objective is to expand and strengthen the use of BIM in the construction industry.
In supporting the implementation of BIM for Government projects, from 2017 to 2019 CIDB has spent an allocation of RM2.9 million and has benefited 69 companies.
To date, 69 companies have benefited from the scheme. CIDBEC acts as the coordinator of the program, appointed by CIDB from 2017 to 2019.
