Internship Software Testing (Computer Science)

Job Description

We are looking for Computer Science students who are passionate about Software Testing to join our department at CIDB E-Construct Services Sdn. Bhd.

📍 Location: Sunway Putra Tower, Kuala Lumpur
🗓️ Duration: 4-6 months
🎓 Education Level: Open to Diploma or Degree students in Computer Science.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Lead QA with testing tasks.
2. Help run manual tests to check system functionality.
3. Report any issues or bugs found during testing.
4. Support the team with test documentation and tracking.
5. Create & maintain end-to-end test cases independently for multiple products.
6. Execute software test based on created test cases for all software features/functions.
7. Work closely with software developers to ensure delivery of quality software.
8. Document test results, log all the software defects and track the defects to closure.
9. Ensure high quality of products being developed and delivered based on product requirement.
10. Opportunity for exposure to software development may be considered on a case by case basis.

Requirements:

1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent with CGPA 3.0 and above.
2. Good command of spoken and written English.
3. Proficiency in mandarin is an added advantage.
4. Good attitude, hardworking and willing to learn.
5. Interest in software testing and technology.
6. Basic understanding of computers and software.
7. Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
