Preparation and Maintenance Services For CIDB
A few details
CIDB in line with the development of information and communication technology (ICT) has developed various systems to support and improve the quality of service of its delivery systems to their customers. The ICT transformation of CIDB’s core business took place in 2017 and customer dealings with CIDB were conducted only online.
This implementation has had an impact on the data transactions received by the CIDB database. To ensure that the accessibility to the system network is at an optimal level, the CIDB Data Center has been located in a location that has facilities and security features that have been set for the specifications of the Data Center.
In order to continue daily operations in the event of a disaster on the Data Center, CIDB needs to provide a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) which serves as a storage centre (backup) for data / CIDB applications.
The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) is a physical infrastructure to replace the main operations centre in the event of a disaster. The DRC is equipped with hardware, software, application systems and network systems that resemble a main operating centre or data centre.
The provision of this DRC involves the allocation of space to house server racks and other related hardware as well as a direct connection to the network to enable automatic data transfer.
